This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very interested in creating intricate friendship bracelets. It is so fun to see them creating colorful pieces of art that they can share with each other.

It is amazing to see how creative and knowledgeable they are as they share their artistic talents with their friends and other students.

Many of them have hidden abilities that often are not manifested in their day to day school academic routines.

The collection of embroidery floss that we are requesting includes bright colors, metallic fibers, and glitter threads to create high quality friendship bracelets. We also need batteries for some of our electric devices like microphones, ukuleles, and keyboards.
