Friendship and Reading

Help me give my students friendship bracelets as reading incentives to wear as a badge of pride, a motivator to keep going, and a connection between readers.

My Project

At our school, we strive to build both a love of reading and a strong sense of community. I am requesting friendship bracelets to use as fun, meaningful incentives for students as they reach their reading goals. These simple tokens of encouragement will help spark motivation, boost confidence, and foster positive peer connections through shared reading success. Our students work hard to become stronger readers.

Some are reluctant or struggling, and they benefit from consistent encouragement and celebration.

Friendship bracelets offer a tangible, joyful way to reward progress, participation, and perseverance in our reading program. Students will earn bracelets when they complete books, reach their goals, or participate in book discussions. They will also be encouraged to share them with peers, building a reading-friendly classroom culture.
