My Project

On Friday afternoons we like to take the time to relax and enjoy some art. By seeing, experiencing, and listening to the identity of those around them through the various arts, students will feel more connected to their peers, teachers, and their environment. This time allows kids a chance to decompress and show their individual personalities. The creativity is beyond beautiful!

Integrating arts in our classroom we work on the development of interpersonal and relationship skills, leading to a highly social, interactive, and collaborative avenue for self-expression, communication, and problem-solving.

These activities help us to improve the way we think, feel and behave in our classroom family. It also helps us to gain confidence, learn new skills and provide us with a sense of achievement that allows us to take risks in conversation and in art.

Arts and crafts encourage us to explore our creativity and imagination, allowing us to express ourselves in several different ways. When doing the crafts I allow the students to express themselves in ways that allow infinite possibilities for success. I like open ended crafts so all children can feel confident.
