it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very active and love playing sports. Being active is part of a balanced healthy lifestyle that helps student's physical development. A large number of my students live in temporary housing and have limited resources. What we take for granted in terms of personal body care turns out to be a luxury for others. My students need body wash, spray, hair scrunchies, lip gloss, and deodorant to keep themselves smelling fresh and clean.
Personal hygiene affects our student's self esteem and socialization, these resources will raise their self confidence.
By providing these items we are encouraging our students to keep being active and taking care of their hygiene. Sometimes students complain that they do not have the necessary personal hygiene products to use after their workouts and sports.
Your contribution will enhance their physical health and emotional wellbeing because good personal hygiene goes hand in hand with being active. They will be motivate to participate in sports, workout, and exercise.
