This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a veteran teacher with years of experience, I’ve had the joy of watching countless students grow into confident, capable learners. My classroom is filled with curious, energetic second graders who are eager to explore new ideas and challenge themselves each day. Many of them thrive when they have an organized, welcoming environment that makes learning feel comfortable and accessible.

After many years of use, some of my classroom essentials have seen better days.

This project will refresh my classroom with:

Pencil holders- to keep supplies organized and within reach.

Privacy folders -to give students focus and confidence during tests and independent work.

Better book storage- so our library is inviting and easy to navigate, encouraging a love for reading.

High-quality erasers for more effective math lessons and whole-group practice used for white boards.

Engaging math centers that provide hands-on activities to build problem-solving skills and confidence.

These updates will make our classroom more organized, help students focus, and give them the tools they need to succeed.
