My Students

Hello! I am a third-grade classroom teacher from a Title I school with over 50% of the students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. My students are kindhearted and passionate learners who are very active! They enjoy moving around the classroom and appreciate positive attention and choices.

Many of my students face challenges beyond their control.

I am looking for simple ways to help them become inspired and grow as learners. I want them to come to school and see a place that is safe, comfortable, and flexible enough to meet their needs.

My Project

My classroom is a busy place full of students who are excited and eager to learn. We do many projects throughout the school year to keep my students active and engaged in the learning process. However, these projects require materials such as construction paper, card stock, and markers. With today's tight school budgets, it is often difficult to get the basic supplies we need in order to teach in our classrooms.

This project will restock my classroom with fresh supplies for a new school year and help my students to have a successful 3rd grade experience.

New student whiteboards will replace our old ones that are scratched and allow students to answer questions and interact as a class during whole group instruction. Construction paper, staples, and tape are used often to foster students creativity and bring our classroom projects to life. As a teacher, I also need new chart paper and chart markers to create anchor charts for our walls and provide visual reminders to my students of what they have learned. I would love your help in providing my students with these vital materials that they need to learn and grow in my classroom!
