Fresh Strings & Clean Storage: Our Guitar Curriculum Grows

Help me give my students accessible instrument storage and a balanced general music curriculum! We are asking for a few guitars and supplies to help update our curriculum and instruments.

My Project

Our music program is growing. With every 6th grader participating in general music and our growing band numbers, our instrument storage needs have outgrown the available space. Our lockers are currently full, which creates challenges, especially for storing large band instruments securely.

To help solve this, we plan to install wall-mounted guitar/ukulele hooks, allowing us to safely hang guitars and ukuleles in the classroom and free up much-needed locker space.

This will create a more efficient and organized music environment for both general music and band students.

We are also in need of new guitars. Many of the ones we have are in poor condition, low quality, or completely unplayable. Currently, we don't have a complete set of functional guitars for the whole class, which limits instruction and hands-on learning opportunities for our students.

This project will ensure every student has access to quality instruments and a well-organized space to explore and grow in music. Thank you for helping us make that possible.
