My Project
As a teacher in a Title 1 school, it is imperative to recognize the profound impact that access to essential hygiene products can have on our students' well-being and academic success. As the winter chill settles in, so do the challenges associated with cold and flu season, making tissues indispensable for comfort and cleanliness, especially for our east Texas allergies. Your support for our project aims to provide not only tissues but also crucial skincare items like lotion and lip balm to shield our students from the harsh effects of winter, ensuring they can focus on their studies without the distraction of dry skin and chapped lips.
Adolescence also brings its own unique set of challenges; and for our students, having access to feminine hygiene products, deodorant wipes, and face wipes is essential for their confidence and dignity.
At this age, the absence of these items can create unnecessary obstacles, hindering their ability to concentrate on their studies. Your contribution to "Fresh Starts" not only supplies tangible necessities but also eliminates the potential embarrassment and discomfort these students may face when in need. By making these hygiene products readily available, we create an environment that fosters a sense of security, allowing our students to focus on their education with confidence and pride.
