This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is an integrated Co-teaching classroom, which consists of two sections of Mathematics with general education and special education students.
We are a Title I school located in a low income community.
Where many students don't have the most basic school supplies. Every single one of my students has a strong desire to learn and succeed. Every day my co-teacher and I work hard to maximize their learning environment. We work together in a positive learning community focusing on helping each child reach their potential and help them to work hard and achieve their goals.
It's Spring cleaning time! My co-teacher and I would like to reorganize our classroom with the help of our students. We want to provide our students with an organized more accessible classroom. This will allow our students to be able to access all types of materials, manipulatives and resources they may need.

My Project
My co-teacher and I are trying to provide our students with an accessible classroom! We want our students to be able to find anything and everything they need around our classroom with ease. We want to organize our materials and math manipulatives in bins with new labels, stating what is in each bin. Ths will provide our students with the ability to go around the classroom with ease and find whatver supplies or manipulatives they may need without having to sort through multiple bins! We want our students to have a visually pleasing environment, in which they'll feel comfortable learning in and also proud to call their classroom.
