My class is full of creative, young minds who enjoy being challenged.

My students look forward to coming to school every day to a safe space with consistent expectations. At our Title I school, the students have very diverse backgrounds. They come to school every day looking for a safe and stable environment, ready to learn. They all receive free breakfast, lunch, and a snack to ensure that they are all getting the food they need because many families cannot afford it. These students need a little extra help getting the supplies they need for the best education possible.

My Project

One of the items I am most excited to receive if my project is funded is a wireless doorbell. With this item, I can get the attention of my entire class to give them directions using over 50 different chimes. Another item I have requested is a pack of D10 dice. We use these for different math games in my classroom, but I currently do not have enough for all of my students. With these extra dice, all of my students will be able to participate. The hanging file folders and laminating pouches will help me store our game templates and keep them organized so we can reuse them frequently. Finally, the construction paper in this project is for a specific math inquiry lesson we do in the first weeks of school.

With these resources, I will be able to provide my students with the tools they need to get the best education possible.

My students and I love our classroom and want to see it reach its full potential. We just need a little help to get there!
