My Project
I teach an incredible group of K-12 students who are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world of STEM and technology. They thrive in hands-on learning environments where they can experiment, build, and discover. The resources I’m requesting—a bookshelf, bulletin board, floor cushions, Kiva planks, and an AeroGarden—will transform our STEM/Tech Lab into an inviting and dynamic space.
The bookshelf will organize our STEM materials, making them easily accessible for students to grab and go.
The bulletin board will showcase their projects and inspire them with new ideas. Floor cushions will create a comfortable space for collaboration and brainstorming. Kiva planks will enhance their engineering and problem-solving skills, and the Makey Makey kit will give them added opportunities to add creativity into their technology skills. The AeroGarden will introduce them to the wonders of plant biology and sustainability.
My goal for this project is to create a learning environment where students feel inspired and empowered to explore, innovate, and grow. These resources will help them develop critical thinking skills, teamwork, and a passion for lifelong learning. My students are special because they are our future engineers, scientists, and tech innovators, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to succeed.
