My Project
I don't know about you, but have you ever been around a teenager in the spring in a classroom? It's not always a pleasant smell. I am seeking donations for my students to give them personal care items. My 6th graders need deodorant, toothbrush/paste, feminine hygiene, and places to store all of these items.
My goal for these items is to provide self-care items to pre-teens who are just now becoming aware of their bodily functions.
Sometimes they can become nervous to ask for help and I want to be the teacher who they know they can trust and come to in a moment of need. My students come from backgrounds in which many of them do not always have the chance to purchase items that inspire self-confidence.
As 6th graders navigate the challenges of adolescence, access to essential self-care items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, pads, and deodorant are crucial for their confidence and well-being. With your support, we can provide these items to help students feel comfortable and prepared as they focus on their learning. Your donation will make a lasting impact during this pivotal stage of their development.
