One of the biggest turn offs to young readers is old and out of date books. It's frustrating to find geography books that look like ancient history with their old copyrights and yellowed pictures. This group of books focuses on countries around the world, US government, the natural world, and our modern world.
These books not only support our curriculum, but also catch the attention of young readers' imaginations.
One of our government books referred to Governor Bill Clinton as a promising young leader. That tells you how old that book was. I'm excited to put new non fiction on the shelves that showcase how our world looks in 2023.
