Our students are friendly, bright, inquisitive and very hardworking. About 60% of them are on free and reduced price lunch. Although some come from modest means, they earn their way into very selective universities throughout the country through their hard work and perseverance.
For many students, our library is the quiet spot they have for studying, using a computer, and reading.
While some students come daily to the library at 7am, others occasionally visit during their lunch period or stay nightly until 6pm.
Our library is open to students from 7 AM to 6 PM. Many students use the space to study, complete homework, read, and just relax quietly. We have a terrific selection of books and numerous computers available for student use. We are asking for your help in subscribing to magazines for the coming school year.
Students read our magazine selection for a variety of reasons.
Some read magazines to take a break from their rigorous courses. Others read magazines, such as Psychology Today, to learn more about the subjects their passionate about. With your help we can offer our students a wide variety of magazines for the 2018-2019 school year!
