My students need the opportunity to start out school with supplies that are new and that have not been passed down for a couple years. They need colored pencils, brushes and paper.
My students are at that age where drawing could be their calming method or their way to express how they feel. Some students may not like art but it’s my goal to change their view on that. I want the students to start out with supplies that are fresh because we all deserve fresh things. Our paint brushes are worn down and stiff to the point we need new ones . My students deserve to come into the classroom and have all the supplies at their fingertips.
My Project
My students will benefit from all the supplies that I have added to my cart because they do not have supplies that they are physically able to hold as they are using coloring pencils when coloring because they are so small. Paint brushes that allow them to feel their actual movements of their hands as they are painting their art. The paint brushes we have now are older and don’t allow the students to complete their beautiful artwork. We begin school Aug 16th and we have a art contest that is due Sept 13th. We need these supplies to try to win medals to boost our students confidence. I know with the right supplies, they will rock it!
