My Students
As my students begin class they can often be heard asking what special event we have for the day. They are eager to experience learning in a fun and interesting way. My first grade STEM magnet students are eager to participate in new and hands-on activities.
My young students are filled with wonder and joy as they learn something new each day.
Our school is a Title l school in an area where many of the students live in apartments and have limited financial resources. Many students have parents who work long hours and have to be in childcare or with babysitters. At home, they may not have the time or access to some of the opportunities they could get through school.
My Project
Our classrooms are rather old and can be quite dusty. Now that we will need to wear masks all day it is even more important to keep the allergens out of the air and keep our air flowing. By having fresh air with the purifier my students will stay healthier and be less likely to be bothered by any dust in the air. Having good air flow will help prevent against illness while keeping us refreshed and ready to learn. It is so important to have an overall healthy environment for my students to learn in.
