My Project

Fresh air, sunshine and Pickleball sum up our outdoor Pickleball project at Forest Grove Middle School. Having the resources to allow our students to enjoy this amazing team game outside of our school for Physical Education classes and for our Pickleball club would add so much excitement and fun to our amazing school. Our students are now hooked on playing Pickleball indoors and with the warm weather approaching we would love to be able to take our classes outside for fresh air and fun while learning and enhancing their skills outside playing Pickleball. Our hope is that our students will carry what they learn into the summer to play at neighborhood tennis courts or in their own driveway. Pickleball is a sport that can be enjoyed by all of our students from our adaptive learning classes, students who are learning the language and for beginners. We also hope to be able to have a professional development day where we can teach the staff at Forest Grove this fun and exciting game that can be enjoyed by all ages. Having this valuable resource allows us to create courts outside for students, staff and our entire community.
