This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work as a special education teacher in the regular ed classroom in an urban school district. This means we have a lack of supplies in the classroom and in our students' homes. This includes basic school supplies like pencils, pens, folders, or binders.
Our students face all odds and still come to school every day!
One of those obstacles includes not having enough to eat. Having healthy snacks in my room would help during those times when they’ve missed breakfast or won’t have dinner after practice!
My Project
The air purifier will help ensure students safety for the start of the school year. having a school with multiple buildings, old structures and windows that don’t open means the air isn’t always its freshest! It also means the temperature isn’t always the best for a learning environment. In addition, we are anticipating another year with Covid-19 as a problem. This air purifier will ensure my students are safe, comfortable and ready to learn! Thank you in advance to donating to my students and classroom! We appreciate everything you do for us.
