This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This freezer is going to be used by my students to keep ice cream FROZEN!! My students will be selling the ice cream to their peers and faculty!! Allowing them to make money for several field trips we have planned, during the year!!! This project will allow my students to work on math skills, communication and mainly, peer relationships!!!

Peer relationships that will transform my students from being one of "those kids" to being those kids that are respected and accepted as friends!!!

Just by selling ice cream to their peers, they will have the chance to give fist bumps, high-fives, and speak to their peers. Giving their peers a chance to learn their names and see them as friends. All of this will give my students the feeling of acceptance and success!! Which is what I want for each of them!!
