As we go into this new school year I have already heard from a number of my students asking if we will still have Ceramics Class or Art Class. It is hard for them to imagine how we will be able to have such a hands on class from behind our computer screens. I have assured each of my students that we will still be creating. Things will be different than they are in class, but we will still make connections with the world around us, tap into our imaginations, and heal through making.
My students will have the chance to set up a a home "studio" in whatever space they have.
My Project
Students are having to create studio spaces at home and we need to provide them with the necessities so they can make their art. Normally, in the classroom we share supplies. We now need to make sure that every student individually has what they need.
These supplies will be used throughout the virtual school year.
Ceramics students will have the tools to have an on the go home clay studio. And Art students will have some of the basic drawing and painting materials to get started. We can't wait to get them back to making art. Thank you for your help!
