My Students

Every day, children walk into my classroom full of excitement ready to learn! Students at our school come from diverse backgrounds.

My classroom provides the students with a safe and predictable environment.

Predictability and routine of the classroom help to cushion the impact of stressors, and, as a teacher, I am in an excellent position to identify and support these children’s unique needs.

I provide a stimulating learning environment for my students. I foster their confidence and give them the courage they need to trust their own opinions which is necessary to develop their critical and creative thinking skills. I want children to be active learners and disciplined, creative thinkers who learn to make good choices, to work cooperatively and to be kind and responsible.

My Project

My students need flexible seating options!

Have you ever been asked to sit in a hard chair for 8 hours of your day?

My students have! Help me give my students the power to choose where they want to sit in my classroom!

Flexible seating also allows my students to change their location and positions as needed. Children need to move. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand. Artcobell Rocker chairs, will give my students that freedom to rock and learn at the same time! I am also asking for four FLOT chairs that will allow students to sit closer to the floor, stretch out their legs, and still focus! No matter the subject area, flexible seating allows each and everyone of my students to choose the space they learn best!
