This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my second grade classroom, we have two times during the school day where we have free time. We have free time in the morning when students come into school, there are students that have breakfast and students that do not, so after morning work, most of them have extra time to find something around the room to play with while they wait for morning meeting to start. The other time is during snack time which students don't receive too much time, but I have some fast snackers!
Right now, the resources I have for free time are very limited and I often find students not having enough options to choose from so I want to expand their choices and give everyone something educational and different to play with during these times!
