Free Response Question Journals for AP Biology Students
Help me give my students supplies for a personalized, colorful "FRQ Journal" so they can practice AP Biology free response questions each week!

My Project
My AP Biology students consistently practice multiple choice and free response questions in preparation for the AP Exam in May each year. Practice questions vastly help students identify their misconceptions and gauge their current level of understanding of challenging material. In general, students tend to be way more confident in multiple choice style questions, whereas free response questions seem daunting, intimidating, or extra challenging.
A personalized FRQ Journal would allow my students to have a dedicated place to practice their science writing skills, and they could track their growth and progress throughout the year.
They will use composition notebooks and glue in free response questions each week, and practice responding to them. They will practice using the scoring guidelines to "grade" themselves and their peers, and will chart their ability to graph, analyze experimental results, identify and discuss trends in scientific data, and
Students will be able to personalize their notebooks with a sticker and fun, colorful tape each week, to encourage their creativity and celebrate the progress they've made.
