My Students

Learning is not about just memorizing facts of events. It is about teaching them to learn from the past. We must give every student the ability to learn and succeed.

Our students face many multiple challenges. Some of our students are impacted by difficulties such as homelessness, military deployments. Helping them rise up and be the best they can be is my job. I want them to reach for the moon in all that they do so that they always land among the stars.

My Project

Every student learns in their own way. I have a very hands on class that includes a lot of technology use. Sometimes, it is nice to take a step back and help our students with the old fashion traditional means. Freck in History is more than flash cards. It is a game that interacts with the students providing them a fun and interactive way to study and learn about American History.

Freck in History is a card game that allows students to escape that normal classroom through game play while they review.

Students struggling in class, students with ADD, ADHD, test anxiety, and tired students will be given a new breath of life as they learn. Students will challenge each other through a friendly game of competition as they learn to master the era of study we are learning.
