My Project

My students try their hardest in math, but struggle sometimes simply due to fact recall. As the math problems get harder and more steps are involved, the last thing they need on their cognitive load is thinking through basic math facts.

Through this project, each student will get their very own set of flash cards to practice any chance we can - during bathroom breaks, extra free time, partner games, and interventions!

These flash cards will be reused each year to support every 3rd Grade Student working hard at this goal in my classroom from now and into the future.

While we are working hard to nail our addition and subtraction with a school funded application, we have set a goal to master all multiplication and division facts so that we can thrive in those 3rd Grade Math standards! Our goal is to achieve 100% fact fluency in Multiplication and Division of 0-10 by the end of the school year and it will show in some fun classroom challenges, our grades, at home, and our iLearn test success!
