Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My robotics students meet five times a week to learn about problem-solving and designing robots. We learn the impact of computing on society and the environment. One of the great aspects of teaching computer science is that students are engaged in a topic that is relevant and interesting. Computer science changes daily. There are always new innovations and computing ideas. My students have a fantastic time learning about programming, and the programs that students create are very personal and often an extension of their personality. Students know that they have to work in teams and participate in discussions. It's very much student-centered in that they are doing the teaching and learning. They are very responsible citizens.

My Project

In learning how to build a robot, FRC students must learn the game and process data on the game. In this project, this laptop will be used by the FRC Scouting Team. Students will observe the matches and keep data on the different teams at the tournament. This data is important to team selection after qualification matches. Students will use the laptop to enter and sort data. Students can program a database and build a table to sort through the data. There are many aspects to FRC competition and many students can help the scouting team. A fast processor is desired. The case will help protect the laptop at the competition. Your support is kindly appreciated.
