Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Understanding fractions and decimals can be a huge hurdle for many students, especially when the learning is only happening on paper. I’m requesting hands-on math manipulatives that will help bring these abstract concepts to life!
My students love using hands on materials to learn.
These materials will give my students the opportunity to explore, experiment, and engage with math in a way that’s meaningful and memorable. Whether they’re working independently, with a partner, or in small groups, these manipulatives will become essential tools in our math lab. In addition, the games will allow the students to learn while having fun at the same time.
