My Project

My students need help with understanding fractions. Please help provide magnetic fraction strips and materials to create fraction lines and help enable my students to visualize and manipulate fractions to deepen their conceptual understanding.

By providing hands-on materials such as magnetic fraction strips and fraction lines, my students will develop a deeper conceptual understanding of fractions.

These tools will allow students to visualize fractions as parts of a whole and facilitate the exploration of fraction relationships and operations. Engaging students in hands-on activities with fraction manipulatives will promote active learning and deepen their engagement with mathematical concepts. Through exploration and discovery, students will develop a sense of ownership over their learning and build confidence in their ability to understand and solve fraction problems. Fraction manipulatives offer a versatile tool for differentiated instruction, allowing teachers to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. By providing tactile and visual representations of fractions, we can support students with varying learning styles and abilities in mastering fraction concepts.

The provision of magnetic fraction strips and materials to create fraction lines will have a significant impact on student learning by increasing student engagement and motivation.
