Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an incredible and resilient group. This is a group of twenty fourth graders with diverse needs and talents. I teach in an integrated co-teaching classroom that includes a mix of general education students and students with disabilities.
My students are striving to improve their reading levels after two and a half years of a mix of remote, hybrid, and in-person learning.
The best way to do this is to inspire a lifetime love of reading. Please help me to reinvigorate our classroom library so that we have a myriad of high-interest books on their level.
Based on a beginning of the year reading interest survey as well as individual students' reading levels, these books will capture my students hearts and minds. Please consider donating to my project!
