My Students

I-pads are about the most exciting form of technology to hit the classroom. Unfortunately, my class doesn't have one! My students are eager to get their hands on an iPad for exciting and relevant learning with science and social studies.

My students are unique, fun loving group of children that are always ready to learn.

We are a Title One school in Oklahoma. Many of my students do not even have access to a computer or internet at home. Having an iPad in the classroom would encourage their love for learning and enhance exposure to technology that they will not receive at home.

My Project

Having access to an iPad that will bring technology to the classroom and really make the world accessible. From researching projects, to becoming fluent in daily concepts with science and geography. I have researched and there are many apps that will deepen their understanding of science and social studies curriculum. Having this resource available on a daily basis will change the ways students do research, give presentations, and complete daily assignments. The iPad will enhance the efficiency in my classroom and will serve as a source of inspiration and innovation.

Having an iPad is such an amazing tool to use and would provide my students the opportunity to learn through educational apps.

This would open their eyes to the world of technology and ensure that they have access to the same resources as others around them.
