Fourth Grade Represents Reading

Help me give my students a book that represents them. It also use tall tales and myths to teach kids to never give up.

My Project

We are trying to encourage some reluctant and non motivated readers. Fourth grade selected a book from a series that students have enjoyed in the past. The power of a student having a book in their hands is beyond words.

This year we want to start the year strong with the book Tristan Strong.

Every year we finish the year with Percy Jackson and do a Greek God wax museum. We are hoping to share past American folk tales with students. The author incorporates these types of stories with young preteens as the main characters.

I am excited to get these kids ready to love reading
