This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My amazing fourth grade students love learning about science. For the next few weeks my class will be exploring our Next Generation Science Standard NGSS: Generate and compare multiple solutions to reduce the impacts of natural Earth processes on humans in our coming Project Based Learning

Students will also teach others about how to prepare for natural disasters.

Each of my students will build an "Emergency Preparedness" Kit. They will use the kit to teach other classes and their own families about Emergency preparedness.

Each student will receive a drawstring backpack, toothbrush, flashlight, granola bar, water bottle, poncho, and first aid items.

Each student will use their Emergency Kit to teach others and they will have their own kit to keep and take home.

Help me bring this fun and educational PBL to life.
