Help me give my students pencils, notebooks, ease pads, folders, pocket storage, and other materials that enhance the learning experience. During instruction, my students highly benefit from the enlarged poster paper being used to create anchor charts that can later, serve as reference.

My Students
In our classroom, we are a community of learners and leaders. All 50 of my students have the potential to make a real impact in this world. In an urban, inner-city school, like ours, many of our students cannot afford school supplies and the resources to take their learning to the next level. These students do, however, have the passion to achieve their dreams. In my class, we have future lawyers, teachers, doctors, musicians, sport athletes, and true leaders in our society.
These students are not only special, they are remarkable.
I wake up every morning excited about what the day will bring and not only what I will provide to my students, but also, what they will provide me in return. Laughter, smiles, and seeing the "ah ha" moments every single day, as they continue to battle against their weaker skills, to bridging the gaps in their learning and celebrating successes and accomplishments.
My Project
The materials in this project allow for instruction to occur daily that allows for students to be fully emerged in their learning. When students have the materials needed, students can breathe a sigh of relief. Anchor chart paper is a key essential material in a classroom that benefits greatly from having access to and practicing skills with use of these.
In this classroom, students maintain evidence of learning and practice through notebooks and folders.
These two materials become key showcases of student learning to parents, staff, etc. While having materials organized, students are able to access them easily. No classroom can run effectively without pencils being available. For my students, they often come to school without a pencil and often require the need to take pencils home to complete homework.
These pencils, notebooks, ease pads, folders, pocket storage, and other materials in this project will be used to take learning to the next level and allow students to have the materials necessary. In my classroom, my goal is that students will have any and all materials needed to assist in their growth and independence.
