My Students

Our students have imaginations that can run wild. They love to create different projects, draw, come up with their own stories, etc. This year our entire grade level is in a technology pilot, where each student has their own computer.

As great as technology is to elevate their learning, some kids crave to create crafty projects and experiment with materials of all different types.

The drive to explore different modes of expressing themselves is there but resources to accomplish that goal is lacking.

My Project

I am asking for materials that will allow the students' opportunities to get creative without technology that will continue to stretch their brain. They will have opportunities to create duck tape wallets, build cities with Legos and learn to draw different characters.

Our school days are packed full of learning and sometimes, students need the time to get creative with different art and craft materials.

We want to foster a love of learning, as well as give them the ability to discover and think critically about different ideas. In turn, this will benefit their learning in the classroom because their brains will be challenged and they will be challenged to think outside the box.
