Fourth Grade Financial Literacy

Help me give my students items for the student store, money for the student bank, and check book sets for depositing, withdrawing, and recording transactions.

My Project

My students work hard in class on academics. They also have class jobs, earn paychecks and have to manage their money. They are learning to be smart with their money. On Fridays they receive their paycheck and they can decide to go shopping or save their money.

Financial literacy is crucial to success as an adult.

In our classroom community my students are modeling adult behavior and learning valuable lessons along the way. The student store items are mini figures, stickers, key chains, squishies and more are very desired items, but are they needs? This year my students will learn the value of a hard earned dollar.
