The rug will invite students to participate and engage in our classroom lessons, read aloud, and other activities. It will provide them with a comfortable spot for them to learn and feel safe and comfortable in school. Having flexible seating options helps us meet the various needs and preferences of the learners in our classroom. The other materials included on our wishlist includes a replenishment of some basic items, as well as book baggies. At the beginning of the school year, each student is given a book baggie so that they can borrow books from our classroom library and bring them home to read. The baggies enable students to continue to read on a regular basis at home!
