Support Our Fourth Grade Classroom: Books and Teacher guide books needed:
As new teacher to fourth grade on the Southwest Side of Chicago, a new group of fourth graders will come in the fall with a classroom that needs beginner novel books and basic school supplies.
These fourth graders are coming in with lots of energy , and eagerness to learn. I am new to fourth grade, and would like to have some teacher guide books to help me help them with skills and strategies. I know that at this age they are excited to read novels full of adventures and mysteries. Please help me provide those literature experiences for them. To support their growth, I am asking for any donations to help build a small classroom library and to help me gather some teacher guide books to make our year full of practice and focused learning. The books on my wish list are books that will help build their curiosity and contain themes that are current. They deserve access to high-quality literature to aid support their overall growth in reading. Our little classroom library needs to be well-stocked by the fall to welcome students into a world of reading within their classroom. These resources and basic supplies will help me provide engaging lessons, and support small-group instruction. Your generosity will impact students who really need and appreciate every opportunity.
