Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is my fifth week with my fourth grade classroom. My goals for this project is to help ensure the best learning environment for my fourth grade students. I am their first permanent teacher within the 2023-2024 school year. We've been together for five weeks now and my students are motivated to end their fourth grade year strong. They've gone through a lot of instability and are excited that they get structure and routine. With that being said, we entered this "new" classroom where everything is outdated and we are starting from scratch. I will use the bulletin board poster and boarders to help ensure that the students work we are creating in the classroom is properly and proudly displayed. The organizational equipment will help ensure I keep a safe and organized learning environment. We are very limited in supplies so the supplies like colored pencils and markers will help ensure that every student has the ability to have their own supplies. The TPT gift car will be able to help me find resources that assist classroom curriculum to help my English Language Learners reach their full academic potential.
