My Project

My project is all about foundational skills in math, science and phonics. I am very familiar with the new group of learners I will be receiving. I love that they are an energetic group of learners with so much potential. With their energy they’ll need to to have material that keeps them engaged. They will also need a lot of assistance in all of these subjects. The resources I choose for them will not only focus on these foundational skills, but will do it in a fun and engaging way. The time and money material will be a blast for the kiddos because it’s something they can relate to right away. They will learn how to count money and how too count time by hours and half hours. The science kits will give our kiddos the head start they need to become great thinkers. The science begins with the basics and builds up doing simple experiments.The phonics material will help our learners build words at varying levels. I differentiated the material to meet the needs of all of my students. Having a strong foundation makes all the difference. As adults we know that a house cannot stand without a strong foundation. This analogy also applies to our learners as well. We must give them the basic resources in phonics, math and science in order for them to succeed in all other subjects and more importantly in life.
