My students are full of life! They are excited to come to school every day knowing they have opportunities to learn in an engaging and hands-on way. They thrive on challenges and new learning experiences, as they are always curious and asking questions. The joy on their faces is indescribable when they accomplish something that was challenging before.

They sing and dance through different learning activities and amaze me with their creativity. We are a busy, loud, energetic, curious, artistic, caring classroom, and I wouldn't have it any other way! We are a family!
My Project
I have been thinking about ways that I can continue to make an impact with my students and their families while we are all at home during this difficult time. Academics and continuing to learn are important, but as a teacher, I know there is much more to it than that!
As a collective belief, we know that children learn best when they can.
There are a lot of outside factors going into whether they truly can learn right now. With that being said, I want to give my students and their families an escape from the 'traditional' and 'academic' learning to focus on building relationships within their homes. Children learn so much through play and conversations. The Jenga games, Activity Books, and Books I am requesting will naturally foster and lead to that! Once funded, my goal is to put packages together with the materials for EACH student and deliver them to their doors. I want parents to know that I am here to support them in more ways than one!
