My Project
Many of my students have different learning needs that can be met in a variety of ways. I hope to engage them and create a warm environment with flexible seating and a cozy atmosphere through lighting and different seating options to allow them to see how our classroom environment is as supportive as possible. The lighting will help allow me to not have to use the harsh overhead lights. The standing desk adapter could be moved to a variety of different seating options throughout my room (tables, individual desks, etc.) to allow students access to a new learning environment that best suits their needs. Some students need to stand to release their energy and this desk could allow that. Other students like to feel comfortable and the comfy chair could allow them to read and work successfully.
