My Project
Part of being a kindergartener is learning to explore new things independently and working as contributing member of a community. A lot of my students struggle with working alone or without an adult present the entire time and making choices that will have a positive impact on those around them. In my classroom I am working hard to foster both independence and community building skills. These tools will help my student achieve both.
These tools will help foster independence in my students as they learn to navigate their learning without constant adult support and make choices that will have a positive impact on our classroom community.
Many of the materials in this project are centered around organization and cleaning. In kindergarten we are learning how to clean up after ourselves and put things back where they belong. This creates healthy habits that have a positive impact on our community and our personal health.
