This year looks a little different in Kindergarten. Normally my students would be seated together around tables. This year, they will be socially distanced and seated at individual desks. One of my students is visually impaired and has adaptive technology to help her be successful in our classroom. This technology takes up quite a bit of desk space and limits the area she has left to use for other tools (manipulatives, workbooks, etc.). This table will give her space for her adaptive technology without limiting her ability to participate in our daily activities. Having flexible seating options in my classroom allow me to better meet the individual needs of my students. This year, students will be spending more time than they traditionally would at their desks. It's incredibly important to me that they have a work area where they can be successful!
