My Project

I am seeking support to enhance my classroom with additional board games that can be utilized during 10-15 minutes of morning rainy day free time for students. My objective is to encourage students to engage less with computers and more with board games, fostering greater social interaction among their peers. My fifth-grade students face a significant challenge: finding engaging activities during their free time without resorting to computer games. Currently, the collection of board games is limited, which reduces opportunities for students to interact and collaborate with their peers. By expanding the selection of board games, I can create a more inviting environment that encourages socialization and teamwork among students. I have implemented a classroom expectation that restricts computer use during free time, promoting face-to-face interaction instead. With your support in providing additional board games, I can foster a community of play and connection, enhancing the overall educational experience for my students.
