Fostering Creativity Through STEM Club

My Students

My students have a passion for STEM. I am starting a STEM club that will be after school.

I teach first grade in a Project Based Learning school and my students have a passion for STEM.

We serve a variety of students from many backgrounds and cultures. The students have a spark and a curiosity that I love! They are interested in learning about how to change the world and help people. I want to do everything I can to keep their passion alive.

My Project

I am working to start an after school program in which the students can explore and develop their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. We will learn about using our new skills to help others in our community and in our world. I will use the books to study and prepare enriching lessons so that the students can spend their time being engaged and challenged. The camera will be used to record our activities and progress to share with the world. We will also make videos and projects with the camera to have a STEM night and to recruit more students to join.

This project will make a difference by exposing boys and girls to the possibilities of a future in STEM.

It will give them ideas, options, and experiences that will shape their futures.
