Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic and ready to learn every day they come to school.

My preschool students with special needs will utilize an enormous amount of hands-on, play-based materials to learn.

My students and I have embarked on a learning journey in school! I am committed to continuing to provide my students with the necessary tools they will need in their educational journey.

COVID-19 has changed the way we teach and reach our students on a daily basis. This has been so hard on my preschool special education students and their families. My students love having fun and learning at the same time. My students thrive with hands-on materials, and it helps foster their creativity.

These materials will ensure equitable and inclusive creativity and engineering education for all.

These terrariums will be used to foster their minds, enhance their creativity and create things using their imagination while learning continues to take place. Arts and crafts are fun and what better way than to do them together while we follow the teacher and ask questions at the same time. We will be learning about building and I cannot think of a better way for my students to learn than to build their own things. My students learn best with hands-on materials and I try to bring that into the classroom. My students will be able to create various items with the different arts and crafts materials. They will even get to build their own terrarium and take care of it! The best part is we will continue to use all these materials together and share our progress on a daily basis!

This pandemic has shown the need for accessibility and opportunity for all students. All students need to be setup for success.
