Help me give my students some games to help their mental health. Our students are experiencing more stress than ever-helping them create better social connections by playing games together can have a positive impact on their mental health.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are experiencing more stress than ever before, and they need opportunities to practice interacting with their peers in positive ways so they can form strong peer relationships. Feeling part of a supportive, welcoming community can help reduce their anxiety in the classroom and make them more productive learners.
Playing games together is an effective way to help students feel more comfortable with their classmates.
In addition to academic skills, our students need support in learning social skills. With so many teens onstantly on their devices, they need encouragement and support to interact with their peers.
Lastly, having fidget devices will help students focus on their assignments, in addition to helping them feel calm and ready to learn.
