My Project
Math has its own unique language, and sometimes my students have a hard time understanding it because they think it can be scary and hard to learn. By having math books to read, my students will understand and make connections to mathematical language.
Learning mathematical vocabulary is extremely helpful to solve math problems in the classroom.
I have chosen books directed toward grade level instruction I will be doing this year. I will use these books to create interesting math lessons so that my students can better connect to the math concepts being taught. They will enjoy math class more because of these various math books. With access to quality math literature, my students' knowledge and skills set will grow exponentially.
With your donation, my students will grow as mathematicians and with this knowledge they will be better equipped for the world ahead of them.
