My Students

My students are intelligent young children who have settled in Brooklyn but emigrated from Poland, Albania, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Guatemala. They are discovering themselves and their skills as English Language learners and have an amazing desire to work and learn. However, for some, the biggest challenge is the limited supplies we can give in school.

My students need ink and paper to complete their projects.

Student-centered learning is important for success. We have to make do with our limited budgets but these basic supplies help us. This assists the learning process in the most important way.

My Project

Paper and ink will make a difference for my students to create amazing projects and write amazing essays. They can use the ink to print their projects and reports, and use the craft paper for original report covers. Students enjoy being creative and their abilities can shine when the can use art in the classroom. Sometimes art paper allows students to express themselves in new ways. Students Love using new materials to create jackets for their writing assignments. I love to tell my students that “Forever is composed in Ink and your memory will be indelible.” Let’s give them a chance to do so.
