This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of this set of books will allow students to use their newly gained forensic science knowledge to make real world connections to what we have learned in class! Students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently and make connections with real world true crime!
These books will not only aid in building my classroom library, but, they will also create an exciting and engaging way to get students involved in applying forensic science into what they read! The overall goal is to engage students in reading analytically, pull important information, make connections, and communicate their knowledge on what happened/evidence involved to their peers.
